Electrical Issues?

So my car has been resetting the radio intermittently and today when it was backing into a space it did this and the power steering became stiffer. My dashboard changed as well, to what looks like the indicator for the blower on the zl1, I have an ss.

Battery volts seem to be normal per the gauge in the car.

Seems like you might have an intermittent battery connection or something else killing power to the entire vehicle, or at least certain modules if the engine stayed running during it. You'll get the boost gauge the first start after the instrument cluster looses power, and the power steering stiffening up also sounds like the EPS is loosing power. Radio resetting could also be a symptom of the radio module loosing power. My guess is one of the main power bus connectors is bad that feeds all those systems, bad battery connection, or even a bad battery itself. Battery voltage alone won't necessarily show any problems if your issue is something like that, either.

First thing I'd do is check the battery connection in the trunk and as many of the power busses (i.e. under the hood by the battery charging post) and any ground connections you can get to easily. Just make sure you disconnect the battery ground before going for the power bus bars!
