Yes, I paid $3050, this is after discounts (returning customer and off season), roughly 1900 for the xpel (PPF), 400 for the paint correction, and 600 for the ceramic coating. Depends on the shop and area you live in, but this guy and his wife/partner are one of the best in my area, IMHO. The front end is a custom application, and they have to remove the hood scoop and emblems to cover the carbon fiber and wrap the xpel under all the edges. Took them 2 days shy of two weeks to complete. The paint correction alone took 3 days.

I finished my own correction and front ppf with whole car ceramic coat a few months ago. I just did my weekly paint inspection and theres a 1/4 inch chip taken out of the top of the quarter panel. :( I don't even understand how that happened since it on the very top flat part of the QP. Its like a damn bird dropped a hefty pebble while I was at work or something.

Such a damn downer, I'm just glad I can fix it myself but still a bummer.

Yeah, northern VA is expensive! I priced it out a year ago, too bad I didn't do it then, I would have saved about $300.

I don't see too many ZL1's around town, know of any events/clubs in the area? Would love to get together with some other ZL1 owners and check out their rides. Check out Virginia Camaro Club on facebook.
I’ll have to checkout that Facebook group.

Beautiful ZL1...smart move on your part and that color is starting to grow on me!

The cost for this is immaterial when it comes to protecting your beautiful ZL1.
I have had this type of work done on every car I have owned since Ceramic Pro was invented (damn I am old...).

Depending on where one lives the prices are usually pretty consistent for Xpel (depending on how much of the car you want to cover), and Ceramic Pro application (paying for the product and a couple of hours to apply)...the real price difference is usually in the labor related to the "Paint Correction"...on my slightly used (7,100 miles when I purchased) BLACK ZL1 I had to have Stage 2 paint correction for swirls, etc...and I probably should have had Stage 3 done as I still see some marks but I am ANAL as hell!!! LOL

Sweet! I'm looking forward to an easy/quick cleaning process. I have a lot of bugs here in VA during the summer months. The car can look like shit in a hurry.

Why did you think that? Did you price check in your area and that is the number you arrived at?.
It would be well over $5,000 where I am.

All depends on how often you drive/wash the car, whether it is garaged, sees rain etc. Some of the coatings claim 10 years which seems hard to believe. If you're paying $3-5k every 2-3 years you're out of your mind imo. The guy who did my car for $650 is an expert but is trying to get his business restarted in Charlotte so offered big discounts.

Just paid 50% deposit on ceramic tint (20% for windows and back glass, 70% windshield), ppf (front bumper, hood, fenders/quarter panels, etc), 5 yr ceramic 2 step (including wheels and calipers), etc... Around $5k AFTER a 10% discount... eek, lol.
