Incentives?

So if I've read correctly. The $1000 rebate on 21's is gone, and there is nothing to replace? Kinda ****ed if you ask me.

Instead you get Employee Pricing on the 2020 and 2021. That is what replaced it on 12-01-20 and is good thru 01-04-21. Be happy !

I saw 2 incentives that apply for Feb aside from any cashback or competitive cash, there's still 0% financing for "well qualified buyers" and a lease special. Not sure I buy the lease is that great an "incentive". These offers may be different per region*

I think that there are a lot of factors, and of course every maker is different. When I went in last summer with my 2020 Nissan Titan to look at a 2021, the dealership was more than happy to give me cash back on the 2021 that had more features than my 2020. I suspect that the dealership figured that they could leverage more money out of a 1 year old vehicle than they could out of a brand new vehicle that had the MSRP sticker on it. There's definitely a lot more gray area in the used car market. Thus, I tell everyone that has a 1-2 year old vehicle to see if it makes sense for them to get into something new. Dealer profit margins on used vehicles can really climb, especially considering that they don't have to worry about the parent company coming down on them for perceived "price gouging".

If you sort this list by lowest price, and go through the few outliers that are titled as "salvage", the prices seem kind of high. https://www.cars.com/shopping/result...2020&zip=75060

Wow, just for giggles, I grabbed what was probably the cheapest Camaro that didn't appear to be a salvage title, a 2020 LS1. They list it for $26K (if you look above it, they claim a market value of $32K --- someone's smoking something). 2020 Chevrolet Camaro 1LS 27,323 mi. $26,369

I then went to Chevy's website and created a new 2022 1LS. Net price $27K. Insane indeed... 2022 CAMARO RWD Coupe 1LS $27,690 Net Price
