Resonators
I know I've probably asked this before but has anyone experience their resonators getting shot? My stock resonators got shot so I had to switch them out and use the mufflers shop resonators that they had & now I've had the same problem again with them being shot. It's only a v6 and I know I'm not pushing much but what I have for my exhaust is a muffler delete, followed by the muffler shops resonators which are 2 HUUUUUGE Fat resonators, followed by my stock secondary cats, followed by the ARH Catless downpipes. If anyone is having the same problem, how were you able to fix it also if you are using a different resonators then please lmk or link me to the one that you're using. Thanks.

Not sure if the picture will upload but I mean as the resonator would break in half, I know I'm not pushing much power lmao I'm probably pushing like 380 IF THAT to the crank lol so Idk why my resonators keep breaking which is weird to me. I wanted to know if anyone knows why this keeps happening.

i have ARH Catlessdown pipes followed by a secondary cat delete (xpipe in there place) then straight piped to an mbrp axelback. basically the same setup as you but tad different. ive only had the problem once with my resonator id recommend going straight piped removing the resonators completely or continue to try to use resonators and if you do get a good brand like magnaflow maybe a resonated x pipe very good product. |
