Planning out my twin set up
Alright as many of you know my motor blew and I'm doing big things now.
I was thinking of running twin 60mm turbos. Will 44mm wastegates be too big? I'm also going to run twin 50mm BOVs.

Depends on setup, turbos, backpressure, etc.
Nothing wrong with twin 50s, but a single is more than enough for a BOV.

Good questions.
Wastegate sizing is super critical but as you now know, other things also have a huge impact on whether or not the gate is going to flow enough. If the air is angled right into the wastegate and the gate it big enough, you can get away with hood or side exit exhaust. I'm sure your wastegate was wide open, doing all it could to control the boost when you blew your motor. It was just too small and at the wrong angle to flow enough with the hood exit. Twin 44's at the right angles is great. Twin 60mm turbos are also a good match on a built engine. |

I was thinking of doing twin 44mm cause already have one. I was looking at the BW S300 line of turbos.

Whats the power goals? AGP kits have cracked over 1500rwhp. Why not just go with proven good and reliable?

Twin 44's is perfect.
In a manual car, S300's are just too big IMO. In an stalled auto car, go for it, but I would never put them in a M/T car. We've got 58 or 62mm turbos that spool much faster and fit much easier for about the same price. |

PM a price for a set of 58s. Will they support my 1000+whp goal?

Is the AGP kit better with just a forged 376 as opposed to a 408 or 416? Im kind of stuck in between that issue.

I kept a 376, well i bored it ten over. Better is a general statement. Really all you need to do is turn up your boost, One may make more power over the other at the same boost per say, But me personally, I think the 376 is just fine.

There are better places to put money for a fast/fun/reliable car. Fuel, octane (e85/meth), clutch, axles, etc. So as long as you don't have to skimp on those, go for it, but if you are going to trade off fuel system for a stroker, that is a mistake IMO. A forged 376 with proper fuel will make 1000+ all day, compared to a badass billet 454 with zl1 pump will be limited to 750ish if that makes sense.

Go for it.
Figure it this way, base turbo kit will do 1000 all day without breaking a sweat. All you need to do is address the next weakest link. That is typically fuel/octane first, then motor. Then supporting stuff like axles/clutch/rear/etc.
