Native pandora APP on 2016 SS

My pandora APP (built into infotainment) use to work very well. Hit it, music would start streaming via bluetooth, no complaints.

It has since stopped working. It says there's no connection. My phone is still paired, and I can go to source=BT and listen to pandora just fine (without the ability to thumbs up thumbs down).

Any ideas what's going on?

Yes, I can just do it over android auto, but sometimes I just want to get in and go.

Has anyone had this just randomly stop working?

Does it say you need internet connection? Like wifi or something?

The standalone MyLink apps (all of them, to my knowledge) require a wifi (not data only) connection. I think it's dumb, but it's why I kept the GM Wi-Fi hotspot.

Your Android Auto versions should work fine over Bluetooth with your phone's data connection.

Open your Pandora app on your phone, settings, advanced, under Bluetooth Devices - check the box - Launch From Car. If it's already checked then uncheck then recheck.

Hmmm....this doesn't make sense. My standalone Pandora app works fine with the Launch from car option unchecked on my phone. In fact, my phone doesn't even need to be in my car when I'm driving for it to work. I do have the 4G Wi-Fi hotspot.
