Folks running 18x11 up front... Need some camber/offset/tire info from you

Thinking of ordering a set of custom 18x11 and 18x12s...

I wanted to know if you're running an 18x11, can you answer the following...
  1. What tire size are you running?
  2. What offset is the wheel?
  3. What camber do you run?
  4. Do you have camber plates?
  5. Do you have a spacer? (list mm size if you do)
  6. Do you have any strut grinding?

You're welcome to post the wheel make/model or a pic of your car but I'm less concerned with that than I am with the answers to the questions above

My setup probably doesn't apply to you because I'm running MCS struts, but nonetheless-

1. 315/30-18 Rival-S (square) on 18x11"
2. +43 with a 20mm spacer
3. -3.7deg, max positive at the hub, max negative at the plate
4. Yes
5. 20mm
6. No

I could fit 18x11.5" with this setup and still stay under the fender, but the rules (at the time) didn't allow it. I know one person running this same wheel setup with stock struts, it requires about 10mm more spacer and massive grinding.

interesting... Thinking of doing something similar in the wheel/tire sizing but with a much more appropriate offset...

The setup is 18x11 +43 square for the purposes of rotating. If you are going to run 335/12" in the rear then that wouldn't be a concern and you just get the front wheels made with the offset you want without spacers.

I also have a 19x11 square setup that I do the same thing with.

I just noticed you are in the PacNW. What are you doing with the car? If it's AutoX related I'd tend toward a 19" setup because the fitment is a lot easier with stock struts. (and because the RE71R is better than the Rival-S when it's <60deg)

Planning on dedicated fronts and rears - Doing track days, I don't enjoy Auto-X anywhere near as much.

How do you like the MCS?
What class/tire do you race?

They are awesome. Ran the car in both STP (defunct) and CAM-C in SCCA Solo competition. The car has multiple ProSolo Championships and has won at the Solo National Championships with the setup.

The car is gone, but I still have the suspension. It might be going on a ZL1 1LE, as I think it’s the only way to fit 335 in front without completely butchering the fenders.

Not selling right now, planning to pick up a used ZL1 1LE in a few months. If my plans change I'll post them for sale.

Were they res or non res?

Did the 'extended ear' design help with more clearance at the hub?

They are remote reservoir triples with quick disconnects. Honestly the triples are overkill, I think remote doubles are just fine.

The extended ear helped a lot for inboard clearance. In front 19x11 +27, and 18x11 +23 both clear just fine.

Seven, you could call Jeff Wong at ProParts USA. He autocrosses his SS here in LA and runs 18x12s I think with Hoosiers now, Used to run 335 BFG Rivals.
