Not derailing if a certain mustang drives a few hours south and attends the rental......

Consider it locked in, their is another Blue SS from NY with a small bumpstick in it that I would like to line up with also.

Wondering if all those record will count ??

I have been told around here that they do not count when it's happening on private track rental or at least they are less impressive or officials !!!
Steph I am sure the gatekeepers will add 1 more entry for you, would be great to have you there. If a record is set there for the bolt-on class I can assure you it won't be me.

Also, I know you are only poking fun at us about private track rentals and records but it brings up an interesting question.

In the 9 months since Evan's infamous 11.83@119 pass was made, no one has still come within .15 of touching his time. Since you are the one in charge of the Fast List on Mg6 and publish all the times, doesn't that raise an eyebrow for you ? Where are your stock timeslips also?

I hope you would consider making the trip, your car is fast and we could be door to door.......or you could race Dan first just to get a win under your belt

Did not want to speak about Mustang in that post but since you did here we go lol:

To be honest the fast list is barely alive and thats even way before I take over the list.I miss the time were new post were appearing every day!!
So I would say that stock , bolts ons and poweradder you are not gonna see all the fastest car there anymore. You are fortunate because your list is much more alive!!!

We have a member who ran in Indiana faster considering Evan ran in 0 DA. He went 1.886 60ft 11.912@119.36 bone stock pp1 drag mode in +1400 DA but for whatever reason it did not post it on the fast list. I even ask him but he never did. He post is slip somewhere in mustang6g do.

On the few occasion I went to the track I have also seen a GT drag mode in Napierville at 12,02@117.8 mph in 1300 DA but with a soft 60ft on 235 4 season.

Another in +1100 DA was running 12.5 with the heaviest full optional pp1 with the magneride suspension and drag mode. The guy weight in over 300 lbs and did not know how to launch . After I told him how to launch he went 12.07@ 118 bone stock Michelin pp1 tires, again not a Evan Smith skill and not in 0 DA

Both will run as fast as Smith in better DA if launch correctly with traction but they will not because they will be probably modify then.

Very few that know how to drive/launch are staying stock very long.
Often stock car are newbie so there is few who ran fast stock time.

There other 11's second stock GT but they are on random post on facebook!

Obviously Smith 11.8's is not the standard for the drag mode GT exactly like a 11.9's bone stock Camaro is not either. But both are possible and have already happen. I am sure there are more than we think.

People seem posting on Facebook not on the mustang6g fast list!!

I am not surfing alot around facebook but still I have also seen dozen of bolt ons GT going high 10's or 11 flat but they are not posting it on Mustang6g and that's their prerogatives!

I would like them all to post but I will not chase them over facebook. Even if they do their own post on Mustang6g but their are not posting it also on the fast list your not going to see it in the list. The rule is the same for everybody, slip need to be post in the fast list tread!!

Again people are not posting on mustang6g fast list anymore they seem to prefer random facebook post. Maybe Camaro owner are more conservative and prefer forum?

For many thing I despite Facebook it's a lot harder to do search compare to a dedicated forum!!

I did not have the chance to ran bone stock. Received my car in january and only made the trip back from the dealer with 4 season tire to my home then I put my long tube headers during the same winter!

For the invitation are serious lol ???

A bit weird to bring a Mustang GT in a sea of Camaro at a private event for the Camaro only.

You are more than welcome to come if spot is open

I think stangmode was possibly going to attend as well

Btw the fastest stock time for the Camaro SS a8 is 11.7. There’s also an 11.8. It’s on the Facebook fast list

Lol funny cuz true

I think he has headers now. Should probably dip into the tens I’d guess but still probably slower than me . A full proper drag pack would help him a lot

Lol yeah!
I garantie he will be way slower than you but also than the others fast bolt ons car!!!
A 10 sec may be possible but he still will probably be over 300lbs than any of your serious bolt ons car in is 401A premium GT!

Anyway maybe by then he will have added heavier wheels, even bigger spoilers, front splitters or other stuff to be sure not to run 10's who knows!!

Kind of impossible to make the trip in my 2018 GT that late !

The latest track day I have seen here is november 15. Usually it's over last week of October or first of November for good reason!

By Nov 25 the majority of the Mustang I know will be in the garage for the winter here !!
Snow often start early up here ! I think the latest I would be planing a 8-10 hrs trip would be very early in November but I still would prefer late october just to be safe!!!

I'm sure it will be fun. Can a stock converter c6g can be #1 in the bolt ons categories?

Yeah it sucks we got pushed back the original date was early November

I’m working on getting my own car trailer maybe early next season I could come to you lol

Honest truth i don’t think I can be #1 with stock converter but it will be close! I’m holding off on a converter until I do heads cam. I also can’t afford many more mods right now so it is what it is

Taking 65 lbs off the front of my car with these and my front brakes. These rims are only 8.5 lbs each! 15x3.5. Lightest rims available that still Street approved according to billet specialties. I’ve also lost 25 lbs myself I’m down to 238 doing low carb

My previous 10.85 was in about 0 DA. And I only got one good pass in that night. I also had some shift points off still. If we have good prep and some negative DA I should be at least a 10.7. But I’m guessing snow and Dan will be 10.5-6 range

You are welcome anytime to Napierville. We get many people from upstate Ny, Vermont!

With your car lower weight and small changes it will be close for sure with Snow and the other 4c/5c converter especially if the converter only locks in third or fourth gear!!

Good luck!!

Thanks. I probably won’t have the best ET but got a good shot at having the best mph. I’ve already been 126.5 previously. 127-128 would be nice

Wow those wheel are nice!!! And only 8.5 lbs !!! Crazy!!

You are not use to negative DA. If the DA is deeply in the negative with tail wind and the prep is good you will be surprise by your time with all your changes from your 10.85 in 0 DA. I know you are trying to be realistic and conservative there but you will be happy I think!!!

Yeah they are very nice thanks. And 100% American made lol. And the price isn’t very bad at all being only 15s. I only paid 700 bucks shipped for both including lug nuts

The best DA I can ever see is about -500. Any less and it’s too cold track closes. The two tracks I frequent are at 6-800 feet to begin with.

I know times will improve with better DA but by a smaller amount than most think because of E85. It burns cooler and fights the effects of bad weather. I don’t think I will get a full tenth from -1000 compared to 0. More like half a tenth at best. When using the correction calculator it’s more accurate to use the extensive modified calculation when you have a car on E85 imo. 10.7 is a nice realistic goal for me. Anything more is just a nice bonus

Forgot about the e85. Use to my good old 94 in negative DA lol.
