Wicker Bill Question

For those of you who run one I have a question. Im not crazy about the factory one and it looks stupid with it off due to the holes in the spoiler so I am wondering if anyone replaced their factory wicker bill with one from the ZL1 company and if you like them? The 2 piece looks really nice and I like the clear or smoked lexan in the middle. Also if you have tried both do the holes line up to the factory holes? Thanks in advance!

Before I bought mine I looked at just about everything on the market. I ended up getting mine from GM. I honestly didn't want the best looking one on my car. I wanted to one that looked the most hard-core. Sounds weird, but maybe I'm weird.

I love my zl1addons wicker bill, way more aggressive than the factory offering.

Wicker

I went with the factory Wicker-Bill as well. Something to be said for buying the aerodynamic part that was developed for the car in the Wind Tunnel. I could be wrong but I doubt the ZL1 Add Ons had the same R&D time as the Aerodynamicists put in at GM, ok...not wrong there. The pitch moment or aero balance of the car was validated with this part, and why it is on my car. Just my .02 cents.

If you don't like the look on the car because of the hardware... Use the lower setting or just remove and re-install the bolts. It gives you a high or low downforce setting which I really like.

The GM wicker bill looks like it belongs on a Z/28.

Any Z/28 owners looking to sell their factory wickerbill? I like the factory one over any of the others I have seen so far. Also, does it come with the car or is it an option you had to add when ordering your car?

The wickerbill was a $450 option on the car from the factory but it was a dealer installed piece that was shipped separately with the car when ordered.

It shows on the window sticker as 'SPOILER EXTENSION, DECKLID (DEALER INSTALLED)'.

I feel the same way, that is the exact reason I put the Z28 wicker on my 1le. It's not weird at all, you bought a Z28, isn't that the most hardcore Camaro? I would totally buy a Z if I could get it with a 2SS package!
