18 Red Hot SS 1LE

I’ve been poking around on here more and more these days reading through all the input so I figured it was about time to stop being a stranger and join in!

I upgraded from a Silver 13 v6 to my 18 Red Hot SS 1LE back mid April this year and when I originally purchased I guess ya could say I was under the impression that I’d be content to enjoy my Camaro ‘as is’ LMAO

Anywho... since driving it off the lot in April I’ve had it ceramic coated, PPF put on the front end, added ZL1 Add ons deluxe splash guards, ZL1 Add ons stealth Wicker bill, C7 carbon ZL1 style rocker panels, Roto Fab cold air intake with the sound delete tube, Elite engineering E2 catch can, IROC Z hood recently after I tragically damaged the original from hitting a vulture on the way home from work one morning , and my MBRP catback exhaust should be shipping soon whenever it’s off that Black Friday backorder list!

Soo much for that happy to remain stock right? We’ll see what else that post 36k warranty mileage era brings

It is! I was initially beyond excited about this hood but since it’s been on my car I haven’t had the greatest of experiences with it unfortunately

Put the MBRP Cat back exhaust on the other week that I picked up from www.wildhammermotorsports.com during their Black Friday sales... definitely liking the new sound

Had the APR front splitter put on this past week, def love the look it gives the front end. May be just me imagining a superficial placebo effect while driving but the ride almost feels a little smoother lol probably just in my head tho! Had the front bow tie and SS swapped out with the black versions while the bumper was off.

Did you have any issues with the APR splitter install? Those support rods sure wind up at a weird angle to the rest of the front end

I had someone install it for me tbh lol of all the things I’m willing to try out and beat myself up doing on the car I was way too nervous to risk damaging the front end! The guy who installed it for me didn’t say anything as far as that aspect of it being difficult, but one of the things he did point out was on the top part of the rods, I guess from what he had read/watched, have a tendency to pull out if the wind does catch the front end hard bc there is just a tiny washer on the rear side of the bumper. So to mitigate that issue for me he bought some larger ones. That’s about the only noteworthy piece of advice I can pass on with that piece
