Got another time! I was able to duplicate this 4.6 run 3 times but can't seem to break it. Only different mods from the last best 0-60 is a boostalator and 40* outside temps.

Does everybody start from two pedals since 2.0T has no launch control? I heard start from 2 pedals could cause transmission damage, is it true?

Only way that's causing transmission damage is if the transmission already had issues. Doing a hard launch over 3k usually only results in spinning anyway.

2019 M6, stock.

I have struggled to break 5.6s but today it finally hooked up...a 5.4s run, stock! Well, unless you count spark plugs and gap being different from factory.

I think that there is some time to improve, as well. I had almost no wheel spin.

When I had my RaceChip GTS installed I ran a 5.1, but at that time was running 5.8+ stock. I have better control of the car and the temps are more optimal right now than they were a month ago when I was trying. I think sub-5 is realistic with the JacFab valve and the RaceChip, when they’re done updating it.

Most dial it in around 4.8s to 4.9s with a tune and bolt-ons. Atleast that's what I noticed with mine but I was running heavy ass 20s soon as I ditched them for the lighter 17s I nailed 4.2s with consistent 4.3/4.4s attempts. Wheel spin is still the biggest factor.

I’d be perfectly fine just getting to that 4.9s number with the minimal modifications. I’m running the stock 18s. It’s going to be a fun spring/summer playing around.

Are you hard launching or 2k rpm launching?

Can you define those for me?

What I’ve found to work best is to rev to about 2500-3000 rpm and then not quite drop the clutch but release pretty quickly. A full drop usually results in a bit too much wheel spin. What I’ve noticed is key is to not rev to 2500-3000 and spend any time waiting. Boost builds nicely at that level but falls off fairly quickly if you wait.

Just realized that I could have been using NLS. That should take a tenth or two off, shouldnt it?

I have a 2019 I4 turbo but it doesn’t have the 0-60 timer. I guess you could activate the speed limiter and use the timer, but that won’t be very accurate. Is there some way to add 0-60 timer, am I missing something?
