I’d call your dealer and ask them to request an expedited shipment so it doesn’t sit in the yard until the strike. Then it sits and rots

If it's a sold order, it's already marked hot in the system. The dealer won't be able to expedite beyond that.

That's pretty interesting. My 2SS Vert order went in opening day, 06/15, was built first week of 2024 production and is still sitting at 3800. Only thing I can deduce is that your vehicle is shipping by car carrier ? and mine by rail to the depot in Pa.
P.S.- Chevy Chat told me it was in transit. My dealer disagreed. Stuck at 3800 according to their info and my freakin' loan "locked rate" and the $750 cash back will end in early Sept. Bummed out, but happy for you.

4300 does not mean that it has shipped. 4300 just means that the car has moved from where it was parked after it hit 3800 or 4B00. They can move the car from one lot to the next and it will show code 4300. 4300 is not the code to get excited about. 4200 is what you want.

Here is just one data point. I had ordered a 2023 2SS 1LE that hit 4300 status mid January. It was just delivered two days ago to the dealership in Charlotte. That was seven months of waiting for delivery. I canceled since I got a ZL1 and a forum member here picked it up. I hope you get better results.

Ok so I just stopped at my dealer and he printed the progress log. The car has been transferred off the Lansing Grand River Plant Yard to a shipping yard on South MLK blvd. called Precision Vehicle Logistics. It’s now out of the hands of GM completely and now in the hands of the shipping company.

My salesman said the shipping yard and truck drivers have nothing to do with who is going on strike now so I’m out of woods.

They have nothing to do with it but there is no way a teamster would go on the property of gm or even move a car from off yard. No way teamsters cross the uaw. There will be no shipping period if they strike

The car is no longer on GM property. They are not involved with UAW. It’s now with Precision Vehicle Holding. They have their own trucks and drivers

Mine had a TPW of Aug 14 but as of today it's at 3400. My order guy said sometimes TPWs get moved but not updated in the system. He thought it could also be that the 1LE is on constraint. Answers to questions are difficult these days it seems.

Well with a little detective work I’ve found the phone number of Precision at Lansing. Gonna give ‘em a call Monday to see when mine is scheduled for shipping to my dealer.

If you’re at not at at least 3800 the build specs have not been loaded into the manufacturing schedules on the assembly line yet. As it was explained to me 3800 is the first “magic number”. That’s when your exact build specs, trim, drivetrain, options, and colors are all loaded into the computers along the assembly line.
