I am suspicious that it’s non refundable if they have no allocation. GM is trickling out allocations from my understanding (someone correct me if I’m wrong). I’d say be patient and hope you are lucky. I don’t see why they wouldn’t give you money back if they never get allocation.

That's weird. I've been told that they get allocations on Thursdays and dont know til that day whats coming. Then they have til Tuesday of the following week to have their orders finalized and submitted.

Allocations are given on Thurs and order must be placed by Saturday IIRC, then on tuesday dealers find out what GM will build. In my case the sales manager called my Thurs June 29 and said I can get an LT1, 1SS or 2SS. I said I'll take a 1SS and I want the 1LE package. He said we will build it with 1LE but won't know if GM will accept the 1LE until Tues July 4. He called me on July 4th and said we got the 1LE

Ihave found I can only access the chat function on www.dhevrolet.com ONCE, then clicking on the chat icon never brings up the chat window again. I can get it if I use a separate computer, but then chat won't work again on either computer!


I have allowed pop-ups on chevrolet.com, but it still doesn't work. anyone else having a similar problem?

Hmm, it might be your ad blocker(s) wreaking havoc with the page. I have a fairly elaborate browser extension setup, but the chat works just fine every time (ironically, I've never needed it since 2018).

Using incognito windows is equivalent to navigating the site from separate (always new) computers, so if you can't make it work reliably, just try opening a new incognito (private) window every time.
