I don't know. It may be hard to get people off their wallet for a $40k 2LT with a 4 cylinder.

The writing was on the wall for the ford v6 though, You couldn't get the v6 with any options and it was base model completely. I don't think GM will drop the v6 in the next gen.

Doubtful. Ford is all about the ecoboost engines. I just don't think the 4 cyl option in the Camaro is at the same level yet.

Plus the Ford eco boost makes more power than the V6 so really the V6 is the dud option. It's the other way around on the Camaro.

No. Ford positioned the V6 as the "base" engine from day one...

Exactly, it was the bargain basement cheapo that they probably made specifically with rental fleets in mind.

That would be a shame. I prefer the 3.7l in the Ford to the ecoboost option but maybe this will bring about a better offering.

The LGX and LGZ are going into quite a few vehicles so its hard to imagine it not being a Camaro option for some time.

Exactly. My 2014 was the last year you could buy a V6 with anything above base model options. I saw it coming when that happened. It is too bad because that little Cyclone was a nice engine.
