My take on that code from experience is a bad sensor also. They have to pull the pump but most pumps just need the sensor (which is a resistor) replaced. Guessing they have to drop the tank. Some cars have trunk access but I don't think so on the Camaro. Even if it did, who could get in there to work?

Think I may have this issue doesn't look like my fuel gauge is moving. Also says I have used 9.6 gallons of gas, but the needle is between half and 3/4 tank.

Also wish there was a way to know what octane gas the dealership really put in my car.

What I learned from this is it doesn't trigger a code or drop to E until around 150 miles. I can't believe they did this qc hold and didn't find this issue. I'd say wait for the code before you take it in and then tell them it happened to me car too. Fuel level sensor had to be replaced bc it was bent. Sounds like a lot of cars may have this issue if yours in fact does. If it does, I'd post about it in the main forum too. Make sure as many people as possible see it so GM will pay attention and start checking the cars not shipped out yet

You'll be ok if they put in 87 octane, just don't do any WOT runs on this tank
