Being local, and seeing many of these strikes, the UAW will set picket lines and the off lot dealers as well. Anybody involved in making or moving the vehicles will be affected. They even set up picket lines at the GM global tech center for employees to disrupt entrance.
The teamsters and UAW are strongly connected in Michigan. If the UAW strikes, Teamsters will support

That’s right I had it wrong I think one of the earlier codes is when configuration is loaded. Sorry.

Well crap, they better get it loaded and on the roll out before the strike then.

As I understand it the current contract ends at midnight Sept. 14th. They could accept any negotiated deal before then to avert a strike and last second aversions have happened before. Or nothing gets done satisfactory to the UAW and the walk off at midnight.

So we have till Sept 14th to get ‘em built, loaded, and rolled out.

Question: Does anyone here know how many days it is currently taking to go from build week to completed car, ready for shipping?

Thanks, in advance for your answers!

Several people hit their TPW on the nose, but I don't know if anyone has gotten 4200 and left Lansing yet. Mine was built the 1st week of 2024 production (8/7), but is still hasn't left.

when your TPW comes, the TPD is luck of the draw on how they pull the orders. The TPD is the day that the vehicle hit GA (general assembly). Once it hits GA, its a full day until complete and roll off
