Looking at a 1LE labeled "Corporate Fleet" - CPO with 800 miles on it

Hey guys, I am looking seriously at purchasing a SS1LE that has right around 800 miles on it. On the carfax, it is labeled "titled corporate fleet" in PA. Now it is for sale in Alabama. It is a CPO vehicle, but i am nervous it may have been a demo dealer car or something.

Do you think this was a demo car that was thrased, or maybe a car that someone bought and just labeled in his business name? Is there a way to tell?

Thanks in advance.

How big is the discount? I bought a ZL1 1LE with 900 miles (never titled) and got a SUBSTANTIAL discount (north of $10k off sticker)..

All about the numbers!

Is this an authorized dealer in Alabama? If it's not… Alabama is one of the few states where they Can wash the title , and it will not tell anyone what transpired about it before.... there is no branding. Many Katrina flood cars ended up in Alabama. Wholesalers went through New Orleans and bought everything if they could sight unseen and took them back there.

If it's an auth Chevy dealer he can run the Vin and tell you exactly why it had that designation.

Yep, authorized chevy dealer, CPO. It did come from PA though. I will ask why it has that on the CF

Not huge, saves me about 4k off buying new. It does however have the CPO warranty good until 100k miles (6 years).

I looked at a red and black SS Vert prior to buying my 2018 SS Redline drop top. It appeared to be beautiful in photos but not so good live. The engine was filthy, it had rag scratches, scratched vinyl and a filthy interior. Just be sure you give that 1LE a really close inspection before you buy it.

Unfortunately i won’t have the opportunity to inspect it before i at least make a deposit. I would be purchasing out of state, fly out and drive it back.

I’d honestly pass on this one. When I bought the SS LE last year I got more than $4k off and the car had 3 factory miles on it. What exactly are they asking for it?

My 5th Gen is one of these types of cars. It had 90 miles on the clock but was classed as used due to GM licensing the car. Its CPO as well. Saved over 10k off the sticker and its been a good car so far.

38,000 - i’m Saving about 4k out the door on it OVER new. It’s about 8k cheaper than MSRP. The new one i am considering is 40,400 but the dealer fees are higher.

Overall 44,640 new vs 40,900 on the used CPO
