Question for those of you who installed a larger lower pulley...
I have an ‘18 6 Speed and am considering going the lower pulley route. Looking at the Cunningham Motorsport stage 1 package (pulley, larger heat exchanger, Rotofab, 160 tstat, New plugs, Gates belt and custom calibration). I on,y ha e 91 octane here in California. They expect approx. 50 RWHP increase and the out the door price is about $4K.
Who has done something similar and is running 91 Octane? What was your power increase? Was it worth it? Please share your thoughts. Thank you. |

hmm for 4k Id go with the weaponx package for 5.7k, You could always subtract the headers for a reduction in price but I love the that the heat xchangers are included in this especially to deal with that Cali traffic and weather...but again something else you could subtract to reduce the price.
Im either going with this or their 850 package, just need to find a solid installer thats not going to beat me in the head for installation. Back in the day iD JUMP AT THE BIT TO DO THE INSTALL MYSELF, BUT JUST DONT HAVE THE TIME.... X800 PACKAGE INCLUDES: WEAPON-X SuperFlow-1 Carbon Intake WEAPON-X LT 87mm Ported Throttle Body IW Balancer and WEAPON-X Stage 4 Pulley 2" Headers - American Racing, Kooks, or Stainless Works WEAPON-X Triple X Heat Exchangers WEAPON-X 160* Thermostat Brisk Spark Plugs Magnecor 85kv Spark Plug Wires WEAPON-X Custom Valve Covers Elite E2X Catch Can WEAPON-X "X800" Badges WEAPON-X "X800" Floor Mats Amsoil Signature Series Synthetic 5w-30 Oil Kit Amsoil Ea Oil Filter Amsoil Coolant Kit |

The CMS stage one includes everything, including labor. I can’t do headers here. Won’t pass smog.

That's way too much money for that honestly. Who the hell is trying to rip you off? Well, the heat exchanger does add $1000, but you don't need it right now. Use that for E85, Meth, or some headers.

Ok, here they plug into the OBD where I imagine they can tell if it’s been tuned.
