Two years ago, I wasn't aware of ALS and what a debilitating disease it is. I met David and Scott Lloyd through a mutual friend at a track event. I raced with them several times and didn’t realize Dave had unfortunately been diagnosed with ALS.

We’ve had a great time together at multiple tracks, and I saw Dave take a podium finish at a SCCA Time Trial competitive event!

I participated in the first “Dave’s Race” in 2019. I can’t wait to participate in the 2020 event with my good friends and meet other supporters!

I saw this last year, but had another event the same weekend. I'll try and make at least the parade laps. Don't think I have enough experience to do open lapping anyway.
