Just a thought... On a few cars I have had over the years I had similar issues when I had a staggered wheel and tire setup. I used to run 275s on the front and 305s or 315s on the rear. With these configurations the car would track oddly through all of the imperfections in the road. If there was a crown or indentations from large amounts of truck traffic, the car would wander all over the road because if it. Maybe that's part of whats happening.

My Hoosiers don't do that even at 130. I would also have the alignment checked. Mine was a bit off from the factory settings. Then when I lowered mine we had to align it again. Toe or camber could be out on the rear. The drag radial don't need to run low pressures like my slicks. When I have my supercharged g8 I ran low 20 psi, I run 13 lbs in my slicks and goes straight down the track, no swaying and they are bias ply.

Definitely seems like it might be something more than just the wobble of the soft sidewall...
I've heard something about running a non run flat in the front (Such as an NT05 -NON R) can help with this problem possibly. |

I've used NT555R DRs on my Grand Nationals and never had a problem with sway at any speed. They were 275/60-15s so they had a fair amount of sidewalls.

The sidewall on a drag radial are not that soft. Its more in the compound of the rubber used. Now my Hoosiers have a soft sidewall for sure.

There is nothing wrong with your car, it's the tires guaranteed. It's the Mickey's and other drag radials like the Nittos having a soft sidewall paired with your front stock runflat tires that have super stiff sidewalls. I did the same thing on my C7Z but with NT05rs on the rear and about shit when I made a half mile pass as the thing was all over the airstrip above 140 mph. Similar effect to running slicks in the rear and full size radials up front on older cars with larger sidewall wheel/tire combos.

I have Nitto NT05r drag radials on my zl1 and have zero problems. I have actually autocrossed with these on the back. goodguys Loveland 2016. Seriously. With the correct air pressure they behave just fine. Never have tried the MTs

I have the same issue with my car and those tires. it wiggled around a little in stock form with stock tires and now with about 200 extra hp and the drag radials it is all over the road sometimes.
does the zl1 have different rear suspension than an ss? in a thread I started bmr told me it is the toe rods and cradle bushings. they have too much give. I am surprised you are not getting the same suggestion in this thread. I am going to try all the bmr stuff in the rear and should have something to report in a couple of weeks.

Everybody just needs to search for posts from those who have tried the 20" Mickeys on C7 Z06s and other cars in the 20" size and what they have to say about this. There has to be dozens of posts online about how MT was even thinking about a recall on those particular tires because it really does make it dangerous at higher speeds. It's not a tire pressure issue either as it still happens with 30+ psi in them. Add in the stock runflat tires up front and it gets real interesting really quickly.
