Is it your software? Or are you proposing that many straight lines?

Tail lights are interesting.

As pointed out the front looks a bit like an old Monte Carlo.
The straight lines were intentional; I was going for more of an angular look. Are you referring to the front end mainly?

It looks good, but unfortunately, today's cars need much more/larger grill openings for various cooling issues and heat extraction air flow.

A far cry from years gone past when the big push was to lower the CD by streamlining the entire car and minimizing the front end profile.

Other than that the concept looks promising.

A-pillar, C-pillar, 1/4 glass all are straight lines. Looking like a Lotus Esprit circa 1976.

Soften it up a bit???

Give it more front grille (for cooling and a more menacing look), more modern headlight/taillight composition, soften the body lines and it'll be a hit with me. I'm not a very big 5th gen fan, but you could also experiment with gills, that could add an interesting touch. Overall, I don't think a full retro rendition would bring back the glory days, a sensible blend IMO would improve chances of success.

And, most importantly, you deserve some serious for the amount of work you've sunk into this.

Looks like a cross between a 5th gen and what the first gen Lumina Z34 would have turned into... I like it

It's a good effort, but it feels like a 90s version of the 3rd gens. None of the design language feels remotely modern, instead borrowing heavily from the harsh boxy lines of the 80s without an attempt to take design cues and modernize them. The 5th gens work as a modernization because it softened some lines, exaggerated some of the features to make them larger, and still used the bold creases common for late 2000s cars.

I don't know why, I see hints of a 512TR and mud 90s 850Ci. Both of which are some of my favorite cars.

Okay based on feedback, here's the first revision. I did a lot of work on the front; softening up the angular lines, and softening lines in general on the entire car. Lots of small tweaks to proportions. I decided to try bringing the style feature of the tail lights, to the front. The DRL's sit above the turn indicators, which seemed like the best overall look, although I'm not sure it would be allowed to have them wrap around like that.

A couple more shots. Did some work on the bottom of the front, and added a hood line.

Sorry, ugly. Especially from the front. Looks like someone dropped something heavy on it. JMO.( Past owner of 75 RS, 79 Z28 and son owns 17 RS). I think it should based on the 2nd Gen.
