In retrospect, I wish I had bought the unpainted fiberglass. Satin is easy to spray with a spray can and I could have done a better job myself. Like anything, it just takes preparation and patience. I'm going to end up redoing mine.

I keep going back and forth between the RPI Design ones and the ACS ones (ZL1 style). I would paint them myself (1LE satin black: WA848+satin clear). Any comment on the RPI's coverage and protecting against rock chips?

I have the RPI side skirts (painted them to match mirrors and spoiler) and the ZL1 Addons rock guards and they have eliminated the rock chip hazard for me.

C7. Fit was ok. Finish is OK enough. One side better than the other. Just looks thin and primer like. Didn't complain. Screws and rivets. And a trip to a shop as I couldn't get same rivet on both sides to bight. One drilled hole at rear you won't get a rivet in. Just made another hole wear the angle and gun head would work.

Would I do it again? Probably ACS. Would I wrap or paint and all that? No. I'd just likely get ACS.

Has anyone seemed to notice alot of chips on the ACS or C7 side skirts from rocks? Is it worth it to wrap them in Xpel for protection too?

Simple

Hold them up, clamp in place, drive in screws.

I have the Acs side squirts and their rock guards in satin black. Matched my 1le perfectly, quality is top notch. The rock guards look great too!

I have the ZL1 add-ons rock guards and those help. The side skirts should eliminate the rest of the chips. However I do too want the side skirts banged up. Should I get these wrapped in Xpel? Has anyone noticed these to get chipped easily?
