We are still trying to get '18 info and production ended over six months ago.

Info on 2019 still has five months or so to go of production before they can even consider any kind of data crunching.

You have quite a bit of a wait.

Based on my experience to date, 2018 owners are at least 90 days away from getting accurate & complete information. Therefore, you're looking @ best mid-2020.

How Chevy c/s can tell me a total of 880 2SS/1LE ('18) were produced, while 1,984 hyper blue 2SS/1LE were produced ('18) is beyond me. In addition, they have not been very receptive to my queries about their faulty data!

Getting similar info for my '17 orange blast SS Sedan was quick & simple!!

Will GM continue to produce as long as there is a demand for a particular model? Such as 2ss 1le 6 spd.....and others

I emailed GM and this is the information they gave me...

Production numbers indicate the following:

-There were 880 2018 Camaro (2SS w/the A1Y Performance Package) produced for the global market.
-There were 1249 Red Hot 2018 Camaro 2SS produced for the global market (we cannot break this number down by performance package).
-There were 6769 2018 Camaro 2SS with sunroof produced for the global market (we cannot break this number down by performance package).
-There were 6769 2018 Camaro 2SS with 6 spd manual trans produced for the global market (we cannot break this number down by performance package).

It seems like last year the numbers were released and broken down pretty good within a few months, this year seems like a no show.

A lot more than my 96 and 98 1LEs. Something like 100 and 98 in those years. The 96 was particularly tough as there was no AC available on the 1LE that year and the car was black. The 98 had AC, but no power seat nor power windows nor other normal creature comfort. I only had my 88 for a short time (<6 months) as it was a full time race car and I quickly sold it and built a 93 for CamaroMustangChallenge, but that was also in the double digits for production I recall.

I'm not sure where you got that number but there's no way 1,984 hyper blue 2SS A1Y were built for 2018.

As I explained in my remarks, Chevrolet gave me that number & they gave me the 880 figure for total number of 2SS/1LE. That's why I said it made no sense... Can't have more HYPER BLUE than TOTAL BUILT, right??

F.Y.I., I've gotten 2 responses since questioning their error. The 1st reply said exactly the same thing, while the 2nd admitted that their 1,984 figure represents '18 Hyper Blue 2SS units (no data available for 1LE).

Having had enough of their nonsense @ c/s, I copied my window sticker & certificate of origin, attached them to a very detailed letter, and mailed it to GM Family First to get proper answers. GM Family First is responsible for employee, surviving spouse, and family orders & records.

Unfortunately, not. It does not appear we will be receiving additional Camaro production figures beyond what we already have.
