Why not find gently used? You can find stuff that looks pretty much new and functions like new for a fraction of that. Guys dont even pay that for the 4 to 6 piston conversion.

Unless there is more that needs changed than the calipers and rotors?

The rears won't work because the parking brake setup is different. Definitely get a used set of ss brembos off somebody that upgraded their V8. You can get new pads new rotors if you like but the calipers themselves will save you a bundle. I totally understand wanting the look because I have a set sitting here waiting to go in my RS but if it's one of your first month's, trust me, go with a throttle control kit like JMS. After all the mods I've done I can tell you that is the number one that stood out.

lol welcome to 6th gen! I've done just couple of cosmetic mods myself, just enjoying it every day as a daily, except for winter in mi🙄

The stock brakes are fantastic man I drive mine through the Toronto traffic daily. Do a mod that matters get a little extra horsepower and torque drop In a Airaid modular intake tube and a K&N air filter. Net yourself 10 horse 10 torque
