At our shop we've seen lower ball joints cause similar issues, if its stuck and not articulating like the other side it could cause problems under acceleration or braking as could a strut mount.

The plan was always to get the ZLE so I'm anxiously waiting on a 19 right now. This issue helped with my decision but hoping something gets fixed.

Cool! Are the 19s available to order yet? Are you going with white again?

Ive never had any issues in my car; but Im easy on the throttle unless the temps are into the 70's or have been driving for a while.

when I leave my house in the mornings temps are high 40's lor 50's this time of year, and after 20 minutes at 70 mph on the freeway the tire temps still read cold. this car will light up the tires even at lower rpms in first and 2nd gear if the tires are not warmed up.

also with the stiff suspension there is no where near as much weight transfer to the back of the car like on the other ZL1's which makes having warmed up tires even more important.

Well I just saw the sun pop out down here and really wanted to take my new ride out, only 70 miles on it and I have owned it 3 weeks, yay New England weather sucks... So I saw you dilemma , so I made my treck up on 395 here in CT. Some nice long stretchers of fairly smooth road, well I did several different sims. And my 2018 ZL1 1LE tracked perfectly, rolled it at 60 , into the throttle and no lane change or pull, tires were in the green/ 39 psi in all 4. So I cannot help out your situation with any info my ride did not compare to yours. Sorry to here but I am sure you will soon figure out what is wrong.
Side note, I too have signed up for track day at Thompson on the 24th also in May on a sat. That's why I kind of went out today to get some good break in miles on it.

Came home with 125 miles on it, man do I like this car!!!!!
Maybe I will see you at a track day some time. Palmer is on my list as well.
Good luck with yours....
Nathan

Update

Spent the day yesterday testing different combinations and on the chassis scales.

Things we tried with Zero change, tested after each change.

Swap rear tires

Swap front tires

Went to a parking lot and did several circles left and right.

Tried different PTM modes.

Tried different driving modes

We (Top Cat and I) put the car on the scales an noted the corner weights, with and without me in the car, right rear had over 100 lbs more than left so we proceeded to adjust the front coils to even out the corner weights.

We also found the front sway part has some preload on it with suspension haning so I will be installing adjustable sway bar links.

Nothing we did had any affect on the torque steer.

I don't completely understand how the ELSD works but this car feels exactly like a car with a spool and a broken axle.

I am under the impression that all the torque goes to the right rear wheel when torque is applied.

The ELSD percent increases with Throttle which leads me to believe the Rear diff clutches are not responding to computer commands.

Will be visiting the dealer in the morning and try to get them to replace the diff as an assembly as I believe it is defective after 2 days of systematically eliminating other possible causes.

Stay tuned.

If you turn traction control off and spin the tires going straight, both tires should spin. If only one spins that would confirm a problem with the eLSD. When the clutches don't work, it will behave exactly like an open differential.

Also, some vehicles can apply each rear brake independently to vector torque. I don't know if the Camaros do this or not, but it might be worth checking into.

Oh. It's probably worth checking your steering angle sensor. That a major input for the eLSD. If it thinks you're trying to turn while you're actually trying to go straight, it would throw everything off.

The easiest way to check is use your PDR to record a video while trying to drive straight. Make sure you use an overlay with the steering angle. It should read near 0 degrees while going straight.

So I pulled up the ELSD gauge on the dash and I see the Percentage rise on throttle and it was showing small amounts of tire slip even with none.

So I dropped the car off at my shop and called it a night.

This morning I went through the entire suspension, front and back looking for something that can shift or is lose and torqued every bolt and everything was perfect.

We even went so far as to measure the rear tires for circumference to see if I had a larger tire on one side, NOPE perfectly the same.

This leads me to think there is something going on with the ELSD.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

Ted.
Same thing here. Had my bro in the car out on the interstate a few months ago. I went WOT in the right lane and ended up in the middle lane a second later lol. I thought it was just the combo of a bad roadway and wide tires.
