Just wondering, I am having a hard time not getting a tune with more air and exhaust. I'm not going to void but would like to know how far everyone that did it made it before they did either on purpose or by accident.

35,000 miles. Installed the JRE tune last week. Just getting rid of the AFM was worth it to me. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. The car just drives better now. Less lag around slow corners when you get back on it. Holds the gear longer and shift points are much closer to what I would do manually.

I have 13k miles; I don't plan on voiding my warranty Im just going to wait until it runs out March 31, 2014 (next year) even then I might consider extending it.

I would love to have a tune and all but I had a problem on my cadillac CTS. At 65k miles the engine seized up, and thank god I had an extended bumper2bumper that I didnt even know about!! so it was covered or I would have been about 4k+ in the hole.

Having that issue made me really appreciate warranties, and that's why I bought another GM car.

I agree with you, if something does go wrong it will be nice to still have. I guess I'm sticking to intake and exhaust then doing cosmetics until the warranty runs out.

will be around 2.5k when mine gets to Lethal this month for a makeover..

About 3K miles. That was over 2yrs ago. Technically my warranty is still vaild. Nothing has been void as of yet.

My bumper to bumper is gone, but still have 1.5 years on the engine and drive train on the SS. The Z has a long way to go yet on both.

Mine was voided right after I bought my SS, did not even make it to 100 miles, straight to Jannettys for more horsepower

Mine is still intact accept for whatever my HUD voided. So I made it about 9,000 miles that I drove and about 29,000 miles that where on the car

When I left for work this morning I only had 600 miles on it. 12 of those I am blaming someone else for.
