To pull the trans or not
So my car has been on stands for 18 months for an engine build. Motor is ready to get dropped in. Will it be easier for me to go ahead and drop the trans with a low lift trans jack, then re-install when the engine is in? Or should I just leave it in, level it out and fight to make sure the engine and trans mate right? 2012 M6.

I left the transmission in when I pulled and reinstalled my motor. You might have to loosen the crossmember a little but that would be it.
