Rev Match problem
Does anyone else get weird revmatch problems, like going from 1 to 2, it blips the throttle really high and doesnt drop so you have to shift into 2nd really high like 3000rpms higher than it should be. This is going up too keep in mind, not down. Happened to me twice yesterday...

Occaisionally. I've definitely noticed some flaws in the technology.... I wonder if Chevy knows and will issue a TSB for a reprogram or something.

Mine stopped working completely at my first track day and I chalked it up to me driving it too hard, but I dunno. It would only work if the revs were under a certain amount and I can't remember what that number was.

Every now and then I notice that the car holds onto higher revs than it should leaving first gear. For instance in a parking lot situation and you go from first to second but mid shift you decide not to let out the clutch but you've already moved the shifter into second gear. It'll hold 3000 rpm for a while. It's rare though and does only happen when rev match is on.

It happens going from 1st to 2nd occasionally. I think it happens when you don't shift out of first soon enough after depressing the clutch. The car may think that you are going to stay in first instead of shift to 2nd.

Shift a little faster and it won't do it. If you are lazy/slow on your 1-2 it will think you are staying in first and bringing the revs up in case you let off the clutch in first.

Slow shifting is a reason the computer gets confused. Going from 3rd gear to 4th too slowly makes the computer wonder if you are going down to 2nd and you get a blip.
The rev match is supposed to stop rev matching under 19 MPH but I have had the rev match run the RPMS up when I was rolling into a parking space in first at way less than 19 MPH. |

Per the SS manual, ARM will only match the engine speed up to 5400 RPM. I believe this is true for the ZL1 as well.
