Are the lt1 bolts the same as LS? Seems like it...

Would these work?

remove them from the intake manifold? i used a hammer and lightly tapped them up.

the ls1 bolts do look similar. it is nice that the lt1 & lt2 intake manifolds use the same bolts.

Didn't know that'd break them loose. Sounds good. Thanks.

Edit:worked perfectly. Thank you.

But this effort is so cool. I had a ported MSD and while it did give about the same benefit as the LT2 IM it was super expensive for a piece of plastic. And unless I am mistaken the LT2 power is less RPM intense. Better on the street.
Honestly, this is what Im starting to wonder. We’d know by next summer, which is when I plan to do this at this point.

Your stock PCV hose will need an extension, or you can just replace the OEM tube with a longer piece of 3/8 hose.

Man I bet MSD is counting the loses in sales. GPI didn't do them any favors posting the Video and HP gains. Wish it would work on my Vette also but won't clear the cowl.

  • High Pressure/High Temp Compatible Fitting
  • Material Removed from Bottom of Manifold for Fitment
  • Map Extension Harness as well

Just order thru GPI. $454 and that includes all taxes and shipping. Not bad and it’s being shipped up north to Canada for that price. Comparable hp/torque numbers to MSD and way less in price. I will port the opening to accept a 95mm TB and an adapter plate. Very excited to put it on and feel the difference hopefully.

Looks like no adapter plate on yours? Is that correct?

So if u just ran your own hose u would have to b careful that it doesn’t kink.. but then u also have to figure out how to connect it to the main hose.. best bet is to either buy an extra one of these to hack the end off ($15) to just do a regular 3/8” fitting to the manifold, or buy the 1/2” push to connect fitting I mentioned
I am going to order this hose just in case I have to return to stock because I just read one post and the guy said it was not running that great.

I know we have Dyno numbers, are there any driving results with just putting the intake manifold on and no AF tweaking?

Mines been installed for over a week but haven’t driven till yesterday. With no real history with these I didn’t want to just slap it on and assume not tweaking the af was ok.. when I actualy drove it over to drop off with the tuner it seemed like it was running fine. Didn’t go wot or anything but regular driving and just getting on it a little bit was ok

I seen somebody on Facebook report that after swapping to the LT2 intake the AFR leaned out from 12.8 to 13.4. I suggested getting the AFR back into the 12.8-13.0 range before running it hard and somebody else posted that is still too lean "They set their cars up for 11.8" lmfao...gotta luv these internets.
