Porting only adds a few hp.not really worth the 300.00 imo.

FYI, Brandon has a Hi-ram on his car.

Very true, or when PE is set to come on. Either way should be a easy fix to the A/F by adding or subtracting in 1% increments from the MAF table to fix the commanded A/F ratio versus the actual.

As soon as someone offers this as a kit with it being ported as well I will probably order one for my Procharged car as well.

looks tricky if you want to fit a 95 mm tb. the top is even with the cast as are several places in the throat. looks like the inside ridge for the o ring has to go....? 2nd pic turned 90*, but the flashlight is shining on the top of the inside.

Haha! I just figured it'll be a hot ticket item, and if I don't end up in a Camaro I will sell it for exactly what I paid for it. Not trying to make a profit.

Where was this manifold two months ago when I was shopping for a replacement for the OEM LT1 manifold? This thing is making good numbers and is not giving up torque like the MSD, and the price tag is much more attractive. Nice write up, OP.

Very creative work! But given that it is possible to adapt the IM to the LT1 and get these results I would wager that an LT1 version already exists at GM for the possible use next year or the year after. Ford sells Mustangs by adding a little HP Chevy can do the same at a very low cost.

But this effort is so cool. I had a ported MSD and while it did give about the same benefit as the LT2 IM it was super expensive for a piece of plastic. And unless I am mistaken the LT2 power is less RPM intense. Better on the street.

Pray says the 95mm works on the LT2. I have a 95mm and an 87mm sitting around. Now if I could just get a LT2. Also have the wiring harness.

anyone install one of these? i did it this morning. the ole girl did not like it. car was noticeably lethargic on the first drive. im skeptical it's going to be totally ok without any changes to the tune. idles and drives fine, it's getting better with mileage but acts like it's -15 degrees timing and is on a 2 second throttle input delay. after 25 miles it was definitely getting better but not like it was.

car has headers & ethanol tune. was very snappy and strong before.

also opted to reuse the stock tb. i have an LT5 & adapter but was crunched on time and also did not want to modify the intake manifold knowing it's ultimately going to come off when the msd gets here.

Confirmed that this fitting does work good.. realy strong and hose does not want to pop out. Gotta give it a lil twist and make sure ring is forward to even get it out. Air tight tested, no leak.. I did have to tap out the 1/2” black plastic fitting end on booster hose w a 3/8” bit to get it to slip over the inner sleeve on the fitting tho. But that sleeves only there if u get the dot approved fitting. Anyways, just another option.... thank u op for getting us diy guys through this
