2016 BMW M3 Competion(stock) vs 2016 Camaro SS(stock)

2016 BMW M3 with Competition package 450hp vs 2016 Camaro SS 455hp.

Very impressed by the camaro. The new ones are very fast indeed, but its rear end/+plus spoiler

are you saying that the rear end and spoiler look bad?

IMO that BMW looks like it's about to go pick up some groceries from the local market. And it sounds like it's mowing the lawn...

Pretty close. Glad to have a Camaro that gives the C63S AMG, M4, and M3 a run for the money.

Yeah. I raced a CL63 AMG the other day, and I was very satisfied with the performance of my camaro.

Could you tell if it was the S or the mid 400HP version? It would be very close if it was the 503HP S.

There's nothing more satisfying than smoking an M3 or an AMG. I live in Fairfield County and drive through Westchester where you rarely run into a BMW, MB, or even an S4,5 being driving by anyone other than the stereotypical owner. At least once a day on a daily basis some clown will come up on me hard thinking they have "the ultimate driving machine" because their cars cost so much more $. M sport owners are the worst. I know I'm not stock but they don't seem to care or know the difference. They just can't accept the fact their expensive cars can't beat a Camaro.

I'll answer for him. If it was the Cl63 then it was in W216 body(the previous gen).
Here it is :

It has a NA V8 and 518 hp. There is no mid 400hp version.

The new generation of that model is called "S-coupe" (w217).The S63 coupe has a turbo v8 with 557 hp

Here it is:

The one u're talking about is the new C-class. The new C63 amg comes in 2 versions: regular c63 with 476 hp and the C63S with 510 hp.

Yeah, I don't like the chevy's back. Smth is wrong with it. But that's me. I'd change the tail lights/spoiler/ and the rear bumper...

Agree about the BMW. The modern m-cars sound so terrible. No matter what it is: v6 m3-m4 or the v8 m5-m6....

As a former BMW owner we've never been (until recently) the fastest in a straight line at any given price point. Our saying use to be, "you'll get him in the twisties." Unfortunately, that doesn't apply here either.

Btw, take a look at the stock 16'Cts-v's top speed on the German autobahn. 320 kmh is 198 mph. Plus, the owner says that it has an aero kit(from the factory), which makes a strong downforce and kills the top speed. So the base V will be even faster.
It is faster then the base z06))

According to this, the zl1 must be faster, cause it is lighter... Unless it has the same aero as the z06 which makes too much downforce.
That's why I don't like the c7 z06. Hope, they will improve that after the facelift...
