My rear deck speakers are rattling now as well.

Did the tape help at all? I was thinking about trying some dynamat.

And by "designed specification range" they mean really poorly engineered...

I was able to shim the gap with some plastic to stop my rattle. Not the best looking, but at least I can drive the car without going absolutely insane.

I had this rattle. Its been fixed now.

Go to the hardware store and get some closed cell foam (weatherstripping). It comes in a roll for a couple bucks. Putting that between the speakers and the rear deck should stop the issue.

Glad you got it fixed. Mine rattles with music loud and deep bass. Going to try what you did to see if it does the same thing.

I just had this panel replaced by the dealer Saturday (thanks to following this video). Seems to have fixed my bass rattle when listening to music. Very happy.
