E15 fuel
Saw this today.
It's higher octane than regular, but less than midgrade. Any ideas on mileage/performance? It's also about .10 cheaper than regular and .40 less than midgrade

there's been a lot of problems reported from blends of more than 10% ethanol. I'd pay the extra to avoid the E15.

I usually run regular just buzzing around town, and then use mid grade for trips.
Seem to get more mpg on the highway with mid grade. Figure my mi,eager is going to suck around town, why spend the extra on mid grade..

not just a mid grade vs premium thing. that e15 crap has 50% more ethanol in it and causes a lot of problems. car manufactures never designed for it. the only reason your seeing it is cause the ethanol requirements go up every year and it;s no longer possible to meet them with a 10% blend.

I always put 93 in my car. Sucks when you get out west you can't find higher than 89 from what I saw. Not sure about the east coast

This is from the 2013 manual. Vehicle fuel systems have been engineered to accept this for many years. I will still go out of my way to find only 10%. The E15 issue lies in small engine equipment. i.e., mowers, string trimmers, etc.
