Went for a nice cruise yesterday down the lake to go grab some lunch. Man I LOVE this car. Weather here still sucks, but at least the extended forecast is looking up.

Brought her home yesterday. She came with front and rear all weather vinyl floor mats, which I'm not crazy about so I just ordered a set of Lloyds Ultimate Floor Mats, Black Mats w/ Red Camaro SS Logo. I also ordered a K&N drop in air filter. Next is probably this front splitter from C7 Carbon or something similiar

Great choice of floor mats, I've had Lloyds Ultimats since 2018 and they still look almost new.

You probably want side skirts, too, both for rock chip protection and looks. I have C7 Carbon's gloss black ZL1 style pieces and they work very well (despite the hollow bottom, but that's what pretty much all aftermarket skirts look like, you don't want a glued-on piece and you need access to put rivets or screws in).

Thanks for advice arpad_m. Yeah, those mats look pretty sweet. She also came with the all weather trunk mat, but I think I'll keep that one.
Very excited to start modding and to give her my own personal touch. And we're off

Quick story, so I traded my 2018 I4 Turbo for the new SS. Some ahole on I95 decided to change lanes just as I was coming up alongside side him or her. I was forced to move over and hit the plastic poles, which caused damage to the front passenger fender and the front nose. The dealer accepted my trade in while the car is still at the collision shop. They said they'll pick the car up as soon as she's ready. I never heard of that. Talk about making it easy for the customer.

When I got my 2022 LT1, I traded in my 2018 Honda Civic EX and basically got full equity out of the car after owning it for 4 years. That said, when I had the Civic, I have to admit those Type Rs looked pretty rad...at least the newer style ones.

First Rinseless wash on the Camaro earlier. My new apartment has a garage so my Camaro stays cleaner longer, however the downside with this complex is that they have no public place to wash my car with a hose hookup. The car wasn't super dirty, just the front of the car was caked in dead flies. I wasn't worried about the scratching in the front as the entire front of the car is PPF'd. The rest of the car cleaned up pretty nice using ONR in 4 gallons of water. On Thursday of last week I took off to the Tail of the Dragon and I spent half the day on Friday on the Driving up and down the mountain. I was a little cautious with not pushing the car at all as i'm still trying to get used to a high HP RWD car.

Thanks for clarifying the caliper thing, I was very surprised to see that the rears were smaller.

Installed footwell lighting today. What a PIA! The hardest part was taking out and reinstalling the lower part of the dash on the passenger side. Two of the screws are in the back and it was tough finding them as it was all by feel. Reinstalling was worse as you had to try and find the holes.
