"what did you do to your 6th gen today?"
I got to drive it. been sitting a while waiting for a nice day. polished up and as close to perfect as I can get. what a pleasure. even pulled out one of the old bikes for a trip around the back roads, then took the Camaro back out with the wife for burgers and beer. wonderful day thanks. |

What did you do to your 6th Gen Camaro today?!
Uncovered her and woke her from her long winter nap. Put on my new license plates.
Two reasons I went with this.
Spelling with a Y instead of an I because it was already taken.

Went to Cars & Coffee in Escondido, CA, met up with other forum members and the Camaro Club of San Diego, headed out on a cruise to lunch with 14 Camaros (turned some dinosaurs into beautiful music), ran across some "less than optimal roads" in the hills (due to all the recent rains in SoCal) while heading to Temecula, came across a washed out road, doubled back, ended up getting lightly sprinkled on, headed home and gave it a very well deserved, thorough bath (heavy rinse, heavy foam cannon (including the wheels and wheel wells) and then a very foamy 2 bucket wash, pulled it into the garage and dried it off and put the car cover on (rain for the next 3 days and traveling the 4 days after, not going to be driven for likely a couple weeks)...
Oh yeah, broke 8,000 miles today as well... 3 years and 2 months old... Still looks like brand new...

Went to a Car Show Sunday, 192 Cars ,100 of them were late model Mustangs .The show was put on by the Wild West Mustangs of Arizona, an open show, I was the only Gen 6 . Normally it's 85 degrees, but cold windy day 62 degrees . The reservoirs are so full there letting water go ,for the spring snow melt. Another Rain storm in the Phoenix valley and a snow storm up north in the high country tonite and tomorrow. This is all residual from California atmospheric river storms . I didn't take any pictures, no reason too all but 92 were Mustangs .

Received my shift knob in. White and red carbon fiber with red alcantara boot. And I was at the Cars and Coffee and cruise with 2SS Capt. Sucked the weather washed out the route, because that is a fun drive.

Took the battery tender off, removed the dryer sheets out of the engine bay, removed the steel wool out of the four tailpipes, reduced the tire pressure and fired it up. Then took it out for its first post winter drive!
Glad it's back in action once again! |
