More Battery Issues

About a year ago I replaced the battery as a preventative measure.
Today car is completely dead, all the while on a battery tender.
I exchange my battery for a new one reinstall, start car and service engine light stays on.

Go to autozone for reading and P2535 ignition 1 switch circuit high voltage and
Secondary DTC's P069e fuel pump control module requested MIL Illumination.

Get them to clear the light, go fill up and light comes on as soon as I start the car. Get them to clear again.

Call the nearest dealer and service tells me to go home and disconnect cables for 30 minutes to see if that helps. Said he is down some techs and would not even talk about me bringing the car in.

It's a 2017 with 3000 miles and zero modifications.

Is it possible that the codes clear themselves, with driving the car as normal, starting, driving, stopping, engine off. (Key cycles)

Does this sound like it might work?

I have done a search already. Thanks for constructive comments. Happy New Year

Be sure you get an AGM battery to meet spec. I just had to return an Auto Zone battery that kept causing the car to generate messages. I bit the bullet and got a 42 month Delco from the dealer and the messages went away. The manager at Auto Zone is aware of many batteries having comparability problems with some cars. Mine is a convertible and it would keep telling me to lower and them raise one or more windows after I started the car. Also other random codes in the system.

Thank you, mine is telling me that about the windows as well.
This is a direct replacement from NAPA. An identical battery was on the car for a year with no problems. I am heading to a dealer tomorrow.

If a new AC delco battery will fix the problem, I will be very happy.

I have tried everything and the light is staying on. Left the cables off for one hour and light came back on soon as I reconnected and started the car.

Was the autozone battery an AGM battery?

Yep, Auto Zone was AGM, their top platinum model.

Ok, thank you for your reply.
Possibly, a GM ac delco battery might fix my problems.

Do you guys have batteries plus out that way? Those guys know too much about batteries lol. They’ve never steered me wrong and I go there a lot for other types of batteries.

I think there is one in Tupelo, however, I am going to the dealer.

These cars seem to be over sensitive as far as electronics and CEL lights.

The service writer is a Camaro driver and his car is modified, so I feel much better about using this dealership.

My car is 100% stock.

As soon as the stock battery dies I replace with an Antigravity Lithium. Then I never have to worry about my battery for like 8 years and just in case something happens, the battery is capable of self-jumping.

Key fob batteries were replaced at the same time as the car battery this time last year.

Thanks for your reply.

Which one did you get for the Camaro?

I see they offer the different AH.

Sort of answered my own question. At the bottom they give weights and examples. I wonder if the 24ah is good for a non daily? It says race only. It’s under 10lbs but has more CCA than an agm for our car.

I went with the 40AH. Still 30 pounds lighter than stock and tons of power on tap.

Been at dealer since 8 central. Currently a 5 hour diagnostic test going. A major drain going on, as new battery was dead this morning. Looking like something electric.

After the 5 hour diagnostics, dealership is saying under hood fuse block needs replacing. If all goes well should have the car back tomorrow afternoon.
