Is adhesive needed for splitter replacement

Replacing the front splitter on my 1LE as I broke it last year at autocross. I know there is an adhesive on there now. But will adding a new adhesive be necessary for the new splitter. It is an ACS composite splitter.

Totally depends on the specific product... I have an EOS splitter on my car (giant PITA to figure out which ones would and would not fit correctly because their marketing info for them is terrible) that actually went on fairly easily. You do need the adhesive, and you have to ensure you prep the car correctly for the install to "take" correctly.

I always use rivets in addition to the bolts. I dont use adhesive.
