Gm performance badge under the hood?
So I just ordered the 1le sway bar kit for my 2ss. I noticed the kit has a silver gm performance badge included. But my car has the same badge already under the hood. Does this mean I already have the swaybar kit installed? I hope I didn't buy something my Camaro already has lol. I picked the car up with 8000 miles on it last August. And not sure if it had any dealer installed options

OK great! But now I am still wondering, hopefully, my car doesn't already have these sway bar kits installed. Its kinda pain to do the front hopefully i can tell by looking at them. And hopefully, they are returnable if I do

The SS comes from the factory with that badge under the hood. Your swaybar is likely stock..

i have the badge also and when i bought my strut bar it came with an extra...i believe all gm performance parts come with one most likely

Probably not sal unless your 2017 is a SS 1LE which you would know just by looking at it. Think of the GM badge as an extra if something happens to your original one.

Just for info my 2016 2SS had one and now the 2017 ZL1 has one too!

That badge has nothing to do with sway bars. I got the same badge with the GM wickerbill. It comes with GM accessories

Thanks for the input. I just got worried maybe the original owner had it dealer installed. Did you guys use the torque specs that are in the instructions? I remember reading that someone used the torque specs in the instructions they snapped the bolt. They were saying the torque specs in the instructions are wrong
