ZL1 facelift needed?

The ZL1 front styling matched perfectly with the 2016-18 SS and LT, looking like an SS on steroids, which was a perfect match for the performance bump.

But the 2019+ SS and LT's styling has left the ZL1 kind of disconnected from the rest of the line up. With an estimated three years left of life for the gen 6, they should get something out soon, or they probably never will.

I think the ZL1 front end looks absolutely menacing! The new SS just looks to bulky/chunky to me. They won’t make more money doing an update.

GM left the ZL1 front fascia intact because, although not my favorite, it's perfect as it is from every measurable aspect.

IMO they should simply bring back the 2016-2018 rear styling with full LED lights front and back, maybe tweak it up a little, but get rid of the protruding goggles in the rear. In reality, though, they probably will no longer touch the ZL1 exterior at this point.

Just my subjective 2 cents'.

If they made the other trims look similar to the ZL1 they would've of sold a bunch of Camaro's.

The ZL1 has an amazing front end compared to any of the previous and past Camaro models. Not wild about the grill though, prefer the 1LE grill but otherwise, its damn near perfect to me.

The ZL1 front end is perfect to me and the grille too! I can see why some folks think the ZL1 needs a facelift since the refresh of the SS and LTs but it was designed for the extra coolers and parts associated with the supercharger on the LT4. In my opinion it wouldn’t make sense to redesign the front end with only 2 to 3 years life left in the 6gen Camaro.

I’m glad GM kept the look of the ZL1 exclusive to the Camaro line!

It is my understanding that the front end of the ZL1 is specific due to cooling. Not unlike the 5th-gen ZL1. The ZL1 retained the front end styling in 2014/2015 when the rest of line up got the refreshed front end.

I agree,I said similar. The 2017 ss front with a few minor modifications would make the ss front look better than the 2020 ss.

How much different looking at the zle and zl1 grills? Are there any good side by side photos?
