The stock 2010-2011 SS setup to a 1LE setup is night and day. It's much more controlled in corners, however, definitely a bit rougher on a DD, but not too much. I got a deal on mine for $200 shipped so I couldn't pass it up.

Now, since you have an 11, you will also want new strut mounts for the front and there are these donut isolator things you will want also. My front mounts and isolators were all toast and I had about 70k miles on my 2010.

I got lucky and grabbed the last set in stock from a wholesaler at work. They appear to be in stock on summit though.

I ordered a set from rockauto.com a couple of days ago, at a great price, and just got confirmation that they shipped today. I was holding my breath waiting to see if they were going to be on "backorder".

If they are back in stock... EXCELLENT for those who are able to get their hands on them. I got tired of waiting on my order and never ending promises that I cancelled them over a year ago. Currently enjoying my Koni Orange Str.T struts. When the time comes - I might try out the Bilsteins if they are available at that time. I won't hold my breath over it though.

Back in stock!

Yup. They’re apparently back in stock. But don’t try to order them on your own - call directly because they’re not showing up in the drop down online menu correctly. $800 for all four corners.

Just going to double check the cost of 1LE shocks before I place an order.

What are you guys doing for the shock mounts? Not feeling the Monroe mounts - I learned from my 4th gen to go with stock mounts.

I purchased stock mounts from GMPartsDirect.com when I did my suspension upgrades.

Damn, after waiting all this time for the Bilsteins to come back into stock, after checking the price again for the 1LE shocks and the mounts, I went and ordered the 1LE stuff. it was few hundred bucks less so if I don't feel like doing the install, the difference between the Bilsteins and 1LE shocks will pay for it. Hopefully I made the right choice. I figured later on if I want to go with the rest of the 1LE suspension parts it will be a better combination.

Quick question gents. Why is it that when I look these up for my 2010 Bilstein's site shows these are compatible but when I go to Summit it says the fronts don't work with my car?

Possible the mounts are different, I know rear 1LEs are different a little stiffer.
