The other day I upgraded to an iPhone Xs Max and noticed something odd. On my phone, I went into the settings menu for Carplay and rearranged the icons to my liking. No problem. However, I noticed that the MyChevrolet app was missing. Went out to the car and plugged it in and MyChevrolet app appears on the dash screen and in the settings menu on the phone. But when I disconnect the phone, the app icon in the settings for Carplay goes away as well as on the phone.

Does anyone know if this is normal? Not sure if this was happening with the old phone.

This is normal behavior for the app. I have tested it on several iPhones (6-Xs) all running different iOS (11-12) in my 2017. As well as I read it somewhere deep in the info pages on the my Chevy page. I can’t find the link at the moment.
