Mine was built 4/10 and I got it last week.

Initially, I thought it was because of the curvature of the windshield. I didn't realize it should have been clear and solidly level until reading this topic.

Mine was built 5/2. Took delivery last week. Crooked by 1-2 degrees.

I took delivery of my SS two weeks ago, HUD tilted in the 15 - 25 degree range, took back to dealer. Turns out there are no adjustments for this, GM reported back to service mgr that this is a known issue and currently considered normal...
Sure, normal if you drive with your head sideways.
Srvc manager said GM was looking into a software fix, not too happy with the answer to date...
Apparently to replace the HUD the dash, and hence the windshield need to come out, which I find difficult to believe...
Has anyone taken their dash out yet?, I find it impossible that there's nothing that can be adjusted with this thing.

Mine is crooked ever so slightly. Right side is higher than the left. I'm OCD and never noticed it until about a week after reading this...lol

Mine is about 10-15 degrees counter-clockwise. I noticed mine on the first 200 miles. Pretty crappy.

Curious if the Chevy reps on the board have any input?

Good Morning Vyncynt,

I regret to hear that your Camaro also seems to have this crooked HUD concern, but I’m glad you were able to bring it to the attention of your dealer. Please keep us updated with your repairs, and feel free to send us a private message if you’d be interested in any additional assistance.

Have a great day,

Angela O.

I am not sure if mine is crooked, but it does show double images. It bothers me enough that I have to turn it off at night. I dropped the car of on Tuesday, 31 May 2016, and it is still at the shop for this and a few other issues. I am already having flashbacks of my 2011 (3 years 3 months of ownership, 11 months spent at the dealer). On the 2016, I am at 2 months of ownership, 1600 miles, and 3 weeks at the dealer.

The other issues for this visit are:

Chip by driver’s door
Bad paint spot by driver’s door
Top rubbing on driver’s side
Rattle from back of exhaust (passenger’s side)
Oil is over a quart low
Whining sound from transmission on low gear (could be normal, but my wife's A8, Charger, does not make the same sound)
Groaning sound at times when turning from a stop. More apparent when the car has been sitting a few hours especially first thing in the morning.

Check for #28380: Service Update – Rear Suspension Toe Link Cracking
Check for Bulletin 30990 – oil pickup tube

The first visit was:

Loose molding after knee pad install
USB ports not working
Chip on driver's side (initially tried to use touch up paint on a defect that existed before purchase)

I'm still seeing cars come in fresh from transport with the crooked HUD, therefore i'm not confident enough that replacing the HUD unit will fix the concern. That being said there is no way that i'm about to take out even my own dash to attempt to repair this until I know for a fact there is a good repair available. If any of you like having your windshield and your dash assembly removed to "try" and get this corrected be my guest. I'm not about to attempt a repair knowing it might not fix it, just to have to do it over again and risk having fitment issues due to panels being removed more than once. This has nothing to do with my skill level as a technician and everything to do with the quality of the plastics and retaining clips on these newer vehicles (all makes and models).

Also I just checked the service manual. It DOES call for removal of the windshield (For those that don't believe it).

I, and every other Camaro owner that hangs clothes in their cars, need a solution.

I was told the same thing by my dealer service manager.
