Fuel Rail Covers Peeling

Anyone have an issue where the paint is peeling off of your fuel rail covers. I know it’s not a big deal but I do like my engine bay looking good. Is this something that’s covered under warranty ?

I would think the 3 year/36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty would cover it.

Mine also plan on them replacing this summer before the bumper to bumper is gone

Yeah I think just about everyone’s SS does this. I just took mine off because they really don’t look good to me. I left the center part on the intake manifold though! One day I might have a Maggie supercharger sitting there.

Mine is doing it so I just bought some vinyl overlays for them and now it looks fine. I got HBM to match my cars paint and vinyl won't start rubbing off with heat.

Mine did it too. So I had them painted with Marine paint. Nice to work in a shipyard.

Mine was replaced under warranty. They claimed it from excessive heat in the bay and fought me to replace it. I took it in for service and saw it chipped when I got it back. Was 2 weeks before Camarofest. Dealer told me it will not be replaced again under warranty. I said, "yes it will, if its under B2B warranty if not, be prepared for a battle."

Only bad thing is the new one will do the same thing in time. Just best to replace it with some other type of paint yourself or decals that can stand the heat.

Agree with this. I preferred decals.
