AWE. If you want valves, Borla just uses the stock valves, never bothered to engineer their own. You're left with the same rattling issues of stock valves.

Not exactly. Borla builds the valve in the external pipe and uses OEM actuators and electronics.

I was told by the distributor they use OEM valves, which was the reason for the delay over a year ago as they attempted to re-enginner, but I never saw any follow up change to the design. I ultimately canceled.

You are correct. A lot of valve squeaking issues with the OEM valves that were being used.

My understanding is they have fixed the valve issues. The systems were on hold a year ago or so. To be honest, you cannot fault them for using the OEM valves. Anything that goes on a car OEM is normally engineered to a higher standard than most aftermarket parts.

If you want a great deal on Borla, call us at 610-628-2095!

Borla S-type for the win! Great sounding system and if you plan on doing headers later down the road it's not going to obnoxiously loud .

Let us know if you would like the best pricing around!

Cheers,
