I almost wonder if topping off the diff after it warms up and pulls some fluid in the diff itself, could possibly lead to too much fluid in there? The amount is probably small enough that it wouldn't be an issue...but just a thought.

Nah, I've opened it many times and the amount that seeps is the same as the factory fill... No worried there

I see 30 hours of track usage for the auto trans on page 205. Can you please point me in the right direction?

That's every 20 *track* hrs. So about 10 track days.

If you don't track the car - I think 70,000 miles but really unsure - sorry, pls ref the manual.

For the 1LE it is 20 TRACK HRS (about 10 days assuming 4x30min sessions per day) for both the diff and the tranny. Albeit I believe the tranny calls for 24hrs. But I always have them done together.
Away from the car now so no access to the manual. It is either in the main manual under Performance Driving, or in the HP Supplement - can't recall now.

This assumes you track the car regularly. If not std maint intervals apply and they are listed under Maintenance I think for each component incl the above two.

I have not seen this in the manual in regards to the trans? In the updated performance guide it only says to change the automatic trans fluid every 15 hours of track use. Which would only apply to the ZL1.

The only thing I see in regards to the SS 1LE fluid changes is in regards to engine oil, and diff fluid.

I use GM fluids as specified in the manual for both ediff and tranny.

Are most of you guys running 75w90? In the manual for the ATS-V & Corvette the E-Diff calls for Dexron VI ATF

And in the SS 1le manual it calls for a different fluid (not ATF). That's what i run.

Did a little more research, the 2019 manual for the Corvette says to use DEXRON-VI ATF in eLSD models (Z51, ZR1, Grand Sport & Z06). This is what I'm going to use. But sounds like 75w90 is working well!
