Just to update this thread. I have a 2018, 2ss Camaro. From the very beginning, my brakes squealed when I applied light pressure. Thankfully, I found this thread. I took it to the dealer and they replaced my front rotors and gave me new front brake pads.
FYI - This was done with 11,700 miles on the car. So, don't worry if you think you have too many miles. Give it a shot.

So SS Models only?

They are blaming it on climate change.

Al Gore invented that.

MHz! Wow! If this squeal is at that frequency, I don't think any car owners or their dogs will need to worry about it.
They understand how special us Camaro owners are Bats are so 20th century when we can hear squeaks all the way into the MHz range!

How are you guys differentiating a legitimate squealing issue with your brakes opposed to them squealing from just being dirty?

@Tyestick,
From day 1, my brakes squealed, especially when I applied them lightly. For instance, stop and go traffic, or inching into a parking spot.

That's an extremely arrogant and dickish statement. I am sure most people on here don't have the luxury to pay cash or even buy a 1LE. So they are proud of what they worked their ass off for.

Mine squeak, pretty bad. Even after washing them. I thought it was just the nature of the pads.

It doesn’t actually. I was told that it’s not the correct part number.
