You do understand that this is a 6th Gen Camaro vs... forum. IMO there is nothing wrong with posting what the "vs" side of things are doing.

Great times for the 1320 11:30s & 40s, with only a wheel & tire package!

LOL, literally the point of this section right?

Thanks for posting OP, impressive times for sure.

High price to pay for a 1 trick pony, but shockingly there are still a LOT of people in to these boats on wheels......truly shocking considering its basically 2020.

I hate to admit it, but I do like the Challengers. If I just wanted something to cruise around in with a big V8, or needed useful back seats for anything I'd pick up a Scat Pack.

I too really like Challengers having lived in them from time to time as rentals, mostly base V8s. They are great looking and more "Car" than a Camaro is. But they feel so big.

However I think we can now safely annoint the 1320 as the fastest stock NA V8 Muscle/Pony you can buy. And of course Dodge also has the fastest FI 8 Muscle/Pony you can buy.

Brilliant move by Dodge taking such an old and borrowed platform to selling on par sometimes at least to the Mustang . The Dodge just might have the "cool" edge over the other 2 and great commercials.

I hope to drive a 392 one of these days.

I've seen about 3 Challenger display click on ads today alone on the net. I can't ever remember seeing a 6th Gen camaro ad in...in...years. And they wonder why the camaro is not selling.

It's been a long hot summer and I have spent more time in the hospital than I care to talk about ..So with that said I have not been back to the track at all .. I have my drag pack ready for the 1320 and as soon as we get some cooler temps here in FL I will be heading down to our 1/4 mile track ..

Some of the 1320 owner up north have had some great luck and good air running as you know 11.30s and 11.40s . We here in FL are still seeing temps in the high 80s and low 90s .. I now have 1350 miles on my 1320 and my first oil change and it's running great ... I did have to have my rear end replaced because it was whining loudly at 40 to 50 MPH , but all seems to be good now .. The car was 4100 pounds with about a 1/4 tank of fuel and the drag pack saved me 52 pounds of weight ..My car came with the rear seat delete but has both front seats ..I may or may not remove the passenger seat for the track , that would save me about another 50 pounds .. If I pull the seat race weight with me in it would be about 4140 ..Not to bad for a so called boat ..lol What little time I have driven It I do enjoy the extra room it offers and being able to see out of the car is a big plus over my S550 Mustang and my 6 gen Camaro .. I guess you can say the car is a bit pricey ? Vs a Base Camaro SS or Base GT .. I got mine for 42000 out the door but if I would have waited I could have got it just under 40k .. But my car has a lot of extras the Base SS and GT don't have ..All three of the cars are great cars and I would have no problem owning any of them ..The 1320 does have the edge in the 1/4 mile over the SS and GT and you can feel it when you drive it ..Yes the car is heavy but once you hit the loud peddle you would never know it ..I know it sounds funny but it's fun driving a fast tank .. I'll report back once I hit the track again with some cooler air that we should be getting in the up coming weeks ..

No argument here on that...it’s all about the money!

Just think what they could do with being able to turn too at the Camaro’s price point!
