New Tire Alert! Let me introduce BFG Gforce Sport Comp 2 for the SS

BFG G force Sport Comp 2 - Coming this April in 245/45R20 and 275/40R20 for Camaro SS and LT/RS. This is a high performance Summer tire that should prove to offer good treadlife with a 340 UTQG rating without scarificing performance. They will also come out at a reasonable price I have been told. I do not have pricing at this time. However I hear when these are released they we will start things off with a rebate to make them even a better value.

Now for some specs. The tire has 8% better dry performanc and 30% better wet performance vs the tire its replacing G Force Sport with the same treadlife and similar pricing. The tire will also offer better wet and dry stopping. The tire will also have up to 40% higher sidewall stiffening structure for superior handling response.

Another nice point is all of these will be made in the USA. So far I am very excited from what I see on this tire. I look forward to testing them on our track at the Tire Rack this spring.

Its great to see another great option for Camaro owners to consider!

* See post 49 for some interesting sizing information.

Probably not because these are not designed to have quite as much dry grip as the Pirelli but I think they will be close with better wear and a better price!

My only gripe with BFgoodrich tires are that the sidewall always feels too soft. I ran the kdw2 and the sports on my previous can and they both felt the same. It appears they addresses this issue with these tires.

BFG needs to put out a all season tire. Along with Goodyear and Michelin.

Yes! They have added the G-Control insert so these will have a much more responsive sidewall!
