I definitely follow break in period. Things need time to bed in. Also let things warm up before going all out. THis car will have enough power to break things if you just start whaling on it cold. I want to drive my ss 200k miles. People do it all the time in corvettes.

There is no point in NOT following and breaking it in just like the factory suggests it. The car isn't going anywhere nor are the roads. Take it easy, enjoy the new car and after 1500, it's GG

I follow break-in on the brake-in.
