1LE, LT2 manifold, headers and e85 on 20s

2021 Camaro SS 1LE A10 - LT2 manifold, headers and e85 on 20s. Goal was 11.5 and it hit it right off the back. Got 3 runs in and tried all the modes (track, touring and sport) to see how the A10 did on the different modes. Suspension stayed in touring for all runs.

Up 77hp 59tq SAE on the dyno.

DA was 1150, 1048 and 800s. 12.0 at 116 is more like it, two times. The 119 was either a fluke or I might have spun and didn’t notice. The car can do a little better with a better launch. I have a prosthetic leg so my braking / launching is not consistent and it will take a couple runs for me to find the sweet spot. For the mods I have and no drag pack the car is moving compared to what I see local or around online. E85 was at 72% too so it has a little more with better e content too.

I don’t go crazy comparing myself with a lot of cars online because they are usually on a drag pack and sometimes even gutted.

116 to 122 makes more sense for the power gained. seems to run what it should for basic mods and what appear to be slightly lighter than stock, but still 20” wheels. i wouldn’t expect much, if anything, from a higher ethanol content. my bolt on car doesn’t care either way once it’s over 65%.

what are your plans for it?

Good to know on the e content. Right now the plan is to have fun running my friends (Supra, Mustang gen3, Gen2 boosted Mustang, GTi, M3) and whatever else comes around for fun. I want to get the car on a circuit track but those are farther out so I have to plan for it. Maybe for next fall/winter port the lt2 mouth and add a TB and CAI. That’s it for now.

The sweet spot to launching is off idle . Launch off idle in touring mode and you will get your best 60ft. This is assuming you have a stock converter. My FBO LT1 has been 1.56 60ft with an off idle launch, but consistently 1.59-1.61. I’ve tried everything else . Seems like this car like the suspension unloaded on launch .

On a 20" street tire or drag radial? I'm going mid month with similar mods, only ported lt1 intake and ported tb, E85, Roto Fab and drag radials. Decent numbers I think and mph is pretty good for 3650 lb Camaro. Congrats

Dura I knew you were on 17s since I just saw your post in 1/4 mile section, I was asking if Jrod was on drag radial or street 20s. Sorry should have quoted.

I did get the 11.4 by launching off idle. Need to hold the brake a little longer to see if I can get a better 60ft without spinning.

Trying to figure out your car's journey here.

Back when you had aftermarket wheels, passenger seat out, and I don't know what else done, you ran 12.01@119, correct? Typical mph ~116 though.

Now you've added an E85 tune, LT2 intake manifold, long tube headers, MBRP exhaust, and changed the rear tires to (100TW) R888Rs, and went 11.49@122?

I think that a TCM tune should help, there is some time left on the table with the hp that you already have.

The RRRs are going to hook as good as even a 20" drag radial. Car still runs great and hope mine will run as well if not better. We'll see this month, good post and congrats.

The 119 mph was most likely a fluke or spin. 12.0 @116 is what I will call it. Yes, I believe as I work on the launch I might get another .1 faster but my limitation right now is the TCM for sure. If you listen to the different runs, the car doesn’t shift the same.
